When you pay decides what you pay
The consultation fee covers the briefing the examiner runs with you before the test, and it moves with the payment route. One route carries the special price, and the report is released once the account is settled.

The invoice is settled in full before the appointment, and the special price applies to the whole engagement. It is the cheapest route on this page, and it is the only thing on it that changes what you pay: the consultation fee is the same on every route.

A deposit against the quote holds the time the moment it reflects, and the balance is settled before the report is released. Use the quote number as the payment reference.

The discount
How to claim the 10% off
Five steps, and the whole thing happens by email before you commit to anything.
1 Request the quote
Fill in the quote form with what has happened and how many people are involved.
2 Pick the payment method
On the form, choose full payment before the test starts. That is the option the discount is attached to.
3 The quote comes back with it applied
The quote emails through as a PDF with the 10% already taken off and the travel worked out, so the number you read is the number you pay.
4 Pay and send the proof
Settle it and email the proof of payment through to the office.
5 The appointment is booked
Your slot is confirmed and the examiner is assigned. Nothing before this point costs you anything.

Seven things that change the number
Read these before completing the quote form, because each one affects the price or the time slot you are given.
Every price here excludes VAT
Spot on Polygraph is a registered VAT vendor, number 4040280960, and VAT at 15% is added to the subtotal on the written quote. The quote shows the subtotal, the VAT and the total as three separate lines, so it goes straight into your books and the input tax is yours to claim.
The form is built for different cases
Payment methods, case types and group sizes are all handled on the one form, which is why it asks more than a name and a number.
A personal matter is not a theft case
Infidelity and relationship matters are more complex than corporate theft and need a different length of slot, which is why they are priced separately.
The consultation happens first
The examiner goes through the facts of your case with you immediately before the examination begins, on the same day and in the same appointment.
The consultation fee pays for that time
It covers the dedicated briefing and the preparation behind it, and it is charged once per engagement rather than per person.
A standard briefing is half an hour
Sexual misconduct and relationship matters take an hour or more, so allow for that when you pick a time.
Answer the form carefully
The options you select produce both the quote and the slot you are allocated, so an inaccurate answer costs you time on the day.

Travel, and how many examiners it takes
The examiner comes to you, so travel is a line on the quote rather than a surprise. How many people you are testing decides how many examiners and how many days, and that decides how many trips are charged.
